Tell us all about how you got started and how you ended up where you are now!
Started off playing guitar & singing when little & started again after moving to LA. Backpacked & traveled the world for 2 years and made my first album. Came back to LA and was given the opportunity to support myself & follow my passion through a job at Warner bros. Since, I fully immersed myself in the art. Space Babies, 3 albums, a bunch of singles & covers. 3 albums out with Osmunda Music, 4th album coming August 18th 2023. Also releasing a children’s album for yoga soon via Osmunda Music.
Husband & I made a recording studio in Venice called Earthstar Creation Studio & most recently founded a music non-profit foundation called Pandion Music Foundation (PMF). Working with a lot of sync licensing and co-writers & co-producers. Finding it fulfilling.
When did you first know you wanted to become a musical artist? What was the first song you ever wrote?
First song I ever wrote is called Munda, written in 1998, recorded in 2001, released in 2019. I knew I wanted to be an artist when I was little. I’ve always wanted to keep doing music more than I wanted to be a musician. Inspired by my mom who would play a lot of cool music from the 60s & 70s on cleaning days.
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?
Joni Mitchell, would love to play a gig, co-write, have dinner, and drink with her!
Between your very first performance and now, how would you say you have grown, as both a musician and an artist?
I see a live performance as a personal experience to share with listeners, it doesn’t have to be perfect as long as there’s heart and soul into it. When I was younger I might have been more nervous, but I feel a lot more comfortable performing live.
What would you like to be remembered for in your musical career, when all is said and done, when future music lovers look for and covet your music, what would you like them to be looking for and remembering you for?
That my spirit & my soul shines through the songs and lyrics. My messaging in my music has a positive effect on people. They can enjoy the music endlessly.
You have a single coming out on 2/24. So exciting! It is titled “Imagine You” What can you tell us about it? What can we expect when we hear it?
Imagine You came out on 2/24, and since its release, it’s gotten over 700 streams & has already made it on a few awesome playlists. I’m excited about this song because it’s a little different than some of the other songs I’ve made and is good for ads/licensing.
